Membership
COSA offers an extraordinary membership program that is
easy on a family’s pocket book. Rates have stayed stable over the last decade
while projected increases will fall far short of inflation. Yearly membership
details are found on the application form available here. Membership entitles
an individual/family to apply for and use of the facility and have access to the
docks, lockers, bbq, change rooms and showers, and beach area. A one-time
initiation fee of $300.00 is required for all new members. Membership fees help
maintain the facility, grounds, dock, and programs.
Moorage
COSA offers more than one hundred spaces for sailboat
moorage. Moorage is restricted to Olympic class dinghies and developmental
class boats (as defined by the Canadian Yachting Association). Moorage rates
are set yearly by the executive but have been stable for more than a decade.
Rates for are established a rate of length times width of boat (and trailer).
Moorage and membership fees are due every year on April 1st.

We are a society of volunteers dedicated to promoting recreational
sailing and rowing.
·
As a society of volunteers, we are responsible for the maintenance
and repairs of the facility and grounds, and for the maintenance of
relationships with our neighbors. This means volunteers clean the toilets, pull
the weeds, paint the building, and replace the light bulbs.
·
To help everyone get along, please place your garbage and
recycling in the receptacles provided.
·
If you notice paper and garbage or pop cans lying around, do the
right thing and pick up after your forgetful friend.
·
Park in the lot or in an orderly fashion down the street.
To avoid problems with neighbors, use our lot first, then the parking

the club on Hobson Rd. as a last resort.
·
Remember that we have neighbors and respect their privacy and need
for peaceful enjoyment of their property.
